Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsible for delivering efficient, evidence-based interventions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and develop appropriate care plans.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency procedures accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document patient information thoroughly and maintain compliance with hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust interventions as needed.
• Float to psychiatric hold areas as required and participate in holiday and call rotations.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience.
• Hold at least 1 year of prior travel ER nursing experience.
• Maintain valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI certifications.
• Demonstrate strong assessment, critical thinking, and multitasking skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work every other weekend, holidays, and participate in overtime rotation.
