Position Summary: I'm seeking a high-performing Senior Project Finance Analyst to join a dynamic and fast-paced team in Washington, D.C. In this role, you will play a critical part in evaluating, structuring, and executing project-level financing—including debt, tax equity, and M&A transactions, across my client's growing portfolio. This is a high-growth opportunity for a candidate eager to advance their career while supporting one of the most active Community Solar developers in the U.S. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain detailed project finance models across the full project lifecycle (development, construction, operations). Assist in structuring and executing tax equity and debt transactions for both individual and portfolio-level financings. Support investor and lender due diligence processes, including managing data rooms, responding to RFIs, and reviewing term sheets. Collaborate with internal teams, including development, legal, engineering, and asset management, to gather inputs and validate assumptions. Analyze acquisition opportunities and support valuation efforts in coordination with the M&A team. Track and analyzethe financial performance of operating projects relative to underwriting. Prepar and present internal and external presentations for investment committees, financing partners, and senior management. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or Master’s a plus. 3–5 years of experience in renewable energy project finance, investment banking, structured finance, or private equity. Proven experience with financial modeling for project-level investments in solar or other infrastructure assets. Knowledge of tax equity structures, partnership flips, and debt financing instruments. Strong understanding of renewable energy incentive programs (e.g., ITC, IRA provisions). Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with modeling software (e.g., PVSyst, Helioscope) a plus.
