Credit Analyst

A respected financial institution, is seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to support its lending and credit administration functions. This role is responsible for evaluating credit opportunities, analyzing financial information, assessing risk, and assisting in sound lending decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze commercial loan requests, including financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, collateral, and credit reports.
• Assess borrower creditworthiness and identify potential credit risks.
• Prepare credit presentations and recommendations for approval.
• Perform financial ratio, cash flow, and debt service analyses.
• Monitor existing loan relationships and portfolio risk.
• Support loan structuring, annual reviews, and covenant compliance.
• Ensure adherence to credit policies, regulatory requirements, and lending standards.

This is a direct-hire, full-time position, hiring immediately. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Pay is competitive and commensurate with experience. This company offers a full benefits package.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field is highly desired.
• 5+ years of credit analysis experience within a financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of commercial lending, credit risk assessment, and financial statement analysis.
• Proficiency in cash flow analysis and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
