A highly regarded law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its expanding real estate practice in Seattle, Washington. This position is ideal for attorneys who have developed a strong foundation in commercial real estate transactions and are seeking greater responsibility, client contact, and exposure to sophisticated business and investment matters.

The successful candidate will work directly with developers, investors, business owners, lenders, fund managers, and institutional clients on a broad range of commercial real estate transactions. Associates will gain meaningful responsibility managing transactions from acquisition through disposition while developing highly marketable transactional expertise.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage commercial real estate transactions from acquisition through disposition

• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, financing documents, and related transactional agreements

• Advise clients on commercial real estate investments and development projects

• Assist with fund formation, management, and investment-related transactions

• Conduct due diligence reviews involving title, survey, contracts, financing, and regulatory matters

• Structure and document complex real estate transactions and investment arrangements

• Collaborate with lenders, investors, developers, and business stakeholders throughout transaction lifecycles

• Analyze legal risks and develop practical solutions to support business objectives

• Coordinate transaction closings and post-closing obligations

• Maintain direct communication with clients regarding strategic and transactional matters

• Work closely with attorneys across multiple practice groups on integrated business transactions

• Manage multiple sophisticated projects while maintaining exceptional client service

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial real estate transactional experience

• Active admission to practice law in Washington or eligibility for admission

• Strong academic credentials

• Experience handling acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and commercial real estate transactions

• Experience advising clients regarding investment and fund-related matters preferred

• Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

• Client-focused mindset with strong relationship-building capabilities
