Job Summary Goosehead Insurance is looking for a Retention Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll work with existing clients who are facing policy changes, premium increases, or expiring coverage and help them find the right solution to keep their business with Goosehead. You'll combine sales and customer service skills to re-market policies, present alternative coverage options, and identify opportunities to cross-sell additional products. We'll teach you the business and provide the tools and processes to help you succeed. Principal Duties and Responsibilities This is a fast-paced role focused on retaining existing business. You'll work directly with clients through inbound and outbound calls, review their current policies, re-shop coverage with our carrier partners, and present solutions based on their individual needs. You'll also look for opportunities to strengthen client relationships through additional coverage and cross-selling. A successful candidate has a background in sales, customer service, insurance, or other client-facing work and is comfortable having consultative conversations with customers. You should be goal-driven, detail-oriented, and able to balance a strong client experience with the ability to identify and close sales opportunities. You'll follow established workflows, scripts, and compliance standards while developing your insurance knowledge and sales skills. Role Requirements Property & Casualty Insurance License (Preferred), or willingness to obtain one after hire — Goosehead covers the cost Legally authorized to work in the United States Required Skills And Abilities Experience with managing customer relationships Experience with CRM systems Team-oriented Entrepreneurial spirit Problem-solving mentality Compensation Summary This position has a first year on-target earnings range of $50,000 - $75,000 .
