Location: Cincinnati, OH | Direct Hire – 100% onsite Salary: $130,000 – $150,000 Why This Opportunity Stands Out:• High visibility role partnering with Finance, Operations, and Executive Leadership to influence business performance. • Opportunity to build and improve costing methodologies that directly impact pricing and profitability. • Drive operational improvements and identify cost savings initiatives across manufacturing operations. • Join a growing equipment manufacturer known for quality products and a strong team-oriented culture. • Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, inventory strategy, and executive-level financial reporting.Target Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000Key Responsibilities for the Cost Accounting Manager:• Lead product costing analysis across materials, labor, and manufacturing overhead. • Develop and enhance costing methodologies, reporting, and forecasting models. • Analyze manufacturing costs, identify savings opportunities, and support operational improvements. • Manage inventory costing, reserve methodologies, cycle counts, and month-end reconciliations. • Deliver margin, variance, and PVMC analysis to support leadership decision-making.Qualifications for the Cost Accounting Manager:• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred• 3+ years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment; supervisory experience required • Strong experience with standard costing, average costing, and activity-based costing methodologies. • ERP experience required; manufacturing ERP experience strongly preferred.
