As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a shelter location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $17.32 - $18.32 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Thur 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Fri 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a shelter setting.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter, to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, documenting incidents and communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while maintaining a respectful, professional presence in a client-service-focused environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
