Job Description
Surgical Instrumentation Technician

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts, Monday to Friday, 5 × 8 hour shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Instrumentation Technician to support the needs of a Level 1 trauma facility. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of surgical instruments and sterile processing standards.

Responsibilities

Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of surgical instruments.
Assist in the preparation and organization of surgical trays.
Collaborate with surgical teams to understand their instrumentation needs.
Participate in quality control and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Conduct regular inventory checks of surgical instruments and supplies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical instrumentation.
Certification from CRCST or IAHCSMM is required prior to submission.
Mask Fit Test completion required.
