Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient (Days)

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist - Outpatient for a 10-week travel assignment in Sault St. Marie, MI.

Contract Details

• Days 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM 8; 40 Hour Guarantee
  
• Start Date: 7/13/2026
  
• Contract: 10 weeks
  
• Location: Sault St. Marie, MI
  
• Hourly Pay: $ 40.00
  
• Non-taxed Stipend: $1246.00
  
• Weekly Total Pay: $2446.00

• Traveler Policy: Candidates' Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates - 100-mile radius restriction)
  

This position delegates responsibility to the Physical Therapist Assistant and Aides. Activities of this position are patient focused and utilize assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in accordance with physical therapy standards, physician orders, and governing policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• (20%)* Evaluates the patients function by performing formal/informal testing measures to determine the skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status.
  
• (20%)* Develops a goal specific treatment regime based on assessment data and the patients tolerance to carryout the treatment plan as prescribed.
  
• (20%)* Submits a written treatment regime to be included as part of the plan of treatment authorized by and coordinated with the physician. Updates plan of care as needed to reflect changes in patient status. Cosigns verbal orders received by physical therapist assistant as necessary.
  
• (20%)* Devises a schedule of treatment, which is frequency and duration specific to be discussed with patient/family/caregiver and coordinated with clinical support staff.
  
• (20%)* Educates patient, family, and/or caregiver regarding pathology or condition, patient alternatives, prognosis, and rationale for treatment through forms of rest, exercise, modalities, and other indicated interventions.
  

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have PT Experience
  
• Outpatient Experience is required
  
• Must have BLS certification
  
• Must have a valid Michigan State License.
  
• Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently.
  
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  
• Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability

• Drug screen and background check (facility required)
