Relationship Manager II - C&IB

Position Overview Relationship Manager II – C&IB in PNC's Commercial Banking organization will be based in San Antonio, TX. Commercial Banking serves companies with sales from $5 million to $50 million, providing both in‑branch and off‑branch financial services. As a trusted advisor in a fast‑paced environment, you will identify and cultivate relationships, support portfolio growth, and add value through best‑in‑class products and solutions. Job Description Coordinate relationship management activities with new and/or existing clients to grow sales, revenue, and market share while meeting relevant sales goals. Engage with clients of moderate risk and complexity, typically under moderate supervision. Acquire, expand, and retain client relationships to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet. Handle origination, financial analysis, negotiation, and documentation of credit and non‑credit products and services. Manage risk/return and drive quality for new and existing clients, actively identifying and mitigating regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risks. Provide ideas and insights based on an understanding of the client’s needs and financial well‑being, focusing on increasing engagement and loyalty. Build and maintain internal and external networks to acquire new clients, expand existing ones, and enhance the client experience. Leverage reporting and sales tools to identify and convert sales opportunities. Demonstrate advanced credit risk analysis for more complex credit requests using internal credit policies. Present the full range of PNC’s products and services, positioning the entire bank to clients. Qualifications University or college degree with a minimum of 5 years of industry‑relevant experience. Proficiency in book of business management, client relationship building, credit products, and customer engagement. Strong business acumen, client relationship management, customer experience management, decision making, critical thinking, effective communications, prospecting, selling, and technical proficiency. No mandatory certifications or licenses are required, but specific certifications may be essential for particular roles.
