CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. This position involves working night shifts and circulating complex surgical cases in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Position Details

• Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
• On-Call Requirement: No on-call duty required
• Holiday Coverage: Occasional assistance may be needed for major holidays

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CVOR setting
• Proficient in circulating complex procedures, including but not limited to:
  • Adult Heart and Lung Transplant
  • Type A Dissections
  • Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
  • Valvular surgeries
  • Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
  • Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms (AAA)
  • Diagnostic and Exploratory Laparoscopies
  • Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (EVAR)
  • Thoracic Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (TEVAR)
  • Fenestrated Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (FEVAR)
• Experience scrubbing for cardiac and vascular cases is highly preferred

• Bariatric
• Pancreatic/Biliary
• Colorectal
• Plastics
• Endocrine
• Surgical Oncology
• Urology
• Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS), including robotic surgeries using Da Vinci systems

Licenses and Certifications

• Must possess a valid SC or multi-state RN license at the start of the contract
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) are required
• Radiation badge will be provided by the agency

Additional Information

The role may involve emergency response assignments during hurricane season, which runs from June to November. Candidates should be comfortable with potential deployment during this period.
