Registered Nurse - CVOR

$2399.04/week –

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced CVOR – Cardiothoracic RN to provide specialized circulating support for complex cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and surgical oncological cases. This role involves working 3×12-hour night shifts with opportunities for on-call and emergency response during hurricane season.

Responsibilities:

• Circulate advanced cardiac and thoracic surgical cases including CABG, TAVR, LVAD, Impella, valve surgeries, and transplants.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and ensure smooth operation during high-complexity procedures.
• Maintain compliance with all clinical protocols, certifications, and hospital policies.
• Ensure thorough documentation of intraoperative activities utilizing EPIC charting system.
• Adhere to safety and radiation procedures, including maintaining required badges and certifications.
• Participate in emergency response activities as needed, especially during hurricane season.

Qualifications:

• Valid SC or multi-state RN license in hand at the start of the contract.
• Minimum of 2 years’ circulating experience in a Cardiac OR setting.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS from AHA.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex cardiac and thoracic surgeries with evidence of current radiology safety badge.
• Strong understanding of surgical procedures such as heart transplants, LVAD, Impella, and valve surgeries.
• Ability to work night shifts, with flexibility to participate in on-call rotations.
