Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Variable Nights, Days, Weekends. 3-12 hour shifts.

Holiday coverage required.

Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state.

American Heart Association BLS certification.

American Heart Association ACLS certification.

National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification.

American Heart Association PALS or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course certification.

1 year of emergency nursing or critical care experience.

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.

Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or the situation.

Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues.

Identify expected outcomes for an individualized plan.

Develop and implement the plan of care.

Promote health and maintain a safe environment for patients.

Enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.

Evaluate nursing practice against professional standards.

Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Must participate in annual stroke education and trauma-related education as required.
