In this role you will provide architectural and hands-on support to critical customer problems in cloud computing and DevOps as well as software development and architecture. In addition, you will have an opportunity to work in several specialty fields with information technology to include Infrastructure Applications, IaaS, PaaS, Cloud Computing (including OS & Application virtualization), platform migration, server consolidation, utility computing, and grid computing.Roles & Responsibilities:Lead the identification, analysis, and resolution of infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issuesReview existing systems and provide actionable recommendations to sponsors and internal teams for improvementCollaborate with development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutionsLead implementation of cloud-based solutions and DevOps practices across projectsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and contribute to project planning and executionBasic Qualifications:Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years with a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years of relevant experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong experience with one or more commercial cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)Experience designing and implementing solutions in one or more commercial cloud platformsAbility to contribute to system architecture and provide technical direction for cloud-based solutionsStrong experience implementing and leading cloud-based solutions using DevOps tools (e.g., GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, or similar)Strong working knowledge with configuration management, infrastructure-as-code, cloud development frameworks, and build automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Terraform, AWS CDK, or similar)Proven experience with data processing architectures including design and maintenance of data pipelines used for ETL/ELT, streaming, and distributed data processingKnowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker Troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to lead resolution of complex technical issues and guide othersDemonstrated experience leading projects, coordinating team efforts, and mentoring engineersStrong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to influence technical outcomes across teamsExperience designing and leading implementation of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesStrong proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#) with the ability to develop and maintain production-quality codeActive TS/SCI security clearance with polygraphPer the U.S. Government’s eligibility requirements, you must be a U.S Citizen to be considered for a security clearance.This position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-sitePreferred Qualifications: Approximately 8 years of experience in a technical field, including at least 4 years of cloud experienceMaster’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with significant cloud experienceAdvanced experience applying DevOps principles and leading CI/CD and automation initiatives across projectsExpert knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes and DockerExpert proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#) with experience developing production-quality codeExpert knowledge in architecting data processing architectures including data-lakes, data warehouses, and large-scale data backend platformsExperience designing and deploying AI\ML enabled architectures in a cloud environmentThis requisition requires the candidate to have a minimum of the following clearance(s):Top Secret/SCI/PolygraphThis requisition requires the hired candidate to have or obtain, within one year from the date of hire, the following clearance(s):Top Secret/SCI/PolygraphSalary compensation range and midpoint:$144,800 - $181,000 - $217,200 AnnualWork Location Type:HybridIt is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
