Job Title: IT Administrator Location: Tempe, AZ Division: Operations Department: IT Employment type: Full‑time Salary Range: $84,000 – $131,000 per year Post date: 6 days ago Position Description QCi is expanding its IT operations team and is seeking a System and Network Administrator to support endpoint environments (MacOS, Windows, Linux), Microsoft 365, and day‑to‑day infrastructure for our growing engineering and fabrication teams in Tempe. This is a hands‑on role supporting both end users and operational systems within a highly technical manufacturing environment. Duties And Responsibilities Working with a distributed team of IT team members. Support employees across Windows, Linux, and MacOS environments while helping minimize downtime and operational disruptions. Assist with infrastructure deployments across office, laboratory, and fabrication facilities, including networking, endpoint hardware, and operational systems. Support device imaging, hardware refreshes, patching, and lifecycle management initiatives across multiple facilities. Required Skills And Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field preferred but not required. Equivalent hands‑on experience will be considered in place of a formal degree. 3–5+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, infrastructure, or networking environments. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+. Proficiency in Linux and Windows System Administration. Experience with Windows Active Directory and other core applications and services. Backup and Recovery, Disaster Recovery Planning and testing experience. Familiarity with SOC‑2, CIS, CMMC, SOX, or other compliance frameworks. LAN and WAN Networking experience, including Layer 2 Switches, Firewalls, VLANs, cable management and troubleshooting skills. Multi‑protocol NAS filer experience (SMB, NFS, S3). Experience managing DNS, registrar interactions, email/SMTP, and other core Internet systems. Authentication, VPNs, identity providers, and certificate management. Experience installing and supporting third‑party applications. Ability to work well with technical and business staff. Highly visible within the Tempe facility; enjoys being physically present with users, understanding workflows firsthand, and solving problems collaboratively. Comfortable wearing multiple hats and learning quickly in a non‑siloed environment.
