CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift

This position is ideal for someone with CNC machining experience who wants to continue developing their skills while working on large industrial components in a modern manufacturing environment. The Work You'll Be Doing In this role, you will: Operate CNC mills or lathes in a production environment Load and unload parts safely and efficiently Perform tool changes and basic machine adjustments Monitor machine performance and production quality Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools Follow setup sheets, blueprints, and work instructions Perform in-process inspections to verify quality requirements Identify tooling or machining issues and communicate with setup machinists and supervisors Maintain a clean and safe work area Support production of large cast components used in industrial and heavy equipment applications Machines, Controls & Technology You'll work with equipment such as: Machines CNC Horizontal Machining Centers CNC Vertical Machining Centers Nakamura-Tome CNC Equipment Fastems Automated Pallet Systems Advanced Multi-Axis Machining Technology Controls Fanuc Controls Inspection Equipment Calipers Micrometers Gauges Indicators Materials You'll Work With Gray Iron Ductile Iron Aluminum High Silicon Moly Ni-Resist Castings Parts range from smaller machined components to large castings used in agricultural, industrial, and heavy equipment applications.
