Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12.0 Hours per Shift: 12.0 Experience: Minimum of 2 years postpartum experience required License: RN License (New York) Certifications: - BLS (American Heart Association) - Neonatal Resuscitation (Required) - Fetal Monitoring Certification (Preferred) Must-Have: - RN License (New York Only) - Two years of experience - BLS Certification (American Heart Association Only) - Neonatal Resuscitation Certification Description: This position focuses on the care of women and healthy newborns. There is an emphasis on education and support of mother-baby couples. The role involves collaboration with physicians, nurse practitioners, lactation consultants, fellow nurses, and social workers. The goal is to provide the highest quality care in a culture of teamwork. The team values integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence. Two years of postpartum experience is required. BLS (American Heart Association) and Neonatal Resuscitation certifications are required, with fetal monitoring certification preferred.
