Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a Regional Facilities Management Director to join a newly established leadership structure following a recent contract win with a major insurance client.

This is a senior, multi-site role based at the Chattanooga HQ, responsible for overseeing facilities operations across a small regional portfolio of Class A office environments. The 2nd site is Portland, Maine, and the 3rd is Columbia, SC. Travel to all ME & SC is required.

The position combines strategic client engagement, operational leadership, and full commercial accountability, including ownership of a multi-million P&L.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multi-site facilities operations across a regional Class A office portfolio
• Act as key client facing representative for a major insurance account
• Deliver high level updates and presentations at senior stakeholder / boardroom level
• Oversee full P&L responsibility (multi-million portfolio)
• Manage delivery of hard and soft FM services, including:
• Maintenance
• Janitorial services
• Landscaping
• Lead and coordinate site-based teams and regional account managers
• Ensure consistent service delivery, compliance, and operational performance across all sites
• Manage external vendors and specialist service providers
• Drive operational efficiency and service improvement across the portfolio

Team Structure

• Multi-site responsibility across 3 locations (HQ in Chattanooga)
• Team of 6, Maintenance and Janitorial Manager at each site
• Vendor and contractor management across all locations

Travel Requirements

• Monthly travel to regional sites (minimum)
• Chattanooga is the HQ/base location
• All travel fully expensed and reimbursed
• $500/month vehicle allowance provided

Candidate Profile

• Strong background in multi-site facilities management
• Experience across hard and soft FM services
• Proven experience managing Class A commercial office environments
• Confident managing distributed teams and account managers
• Strong client-facing experience in a senior/stakeholder environment
• Comfortable operating between strategic leadership and operational delivery
• Experience managing external vendors and service partners
• Commercially strong with P&L responsibility
