About the Position

Job Title: RN Ambulatory Outpatient Profession: Nursing Specialty: Allergy/Immunology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 8-10 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinic setting; allergy clinic experience highly preferred. License: Valid nursing license required. Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: Experience with triage, rooming patients, injections, and pediatric patients. Skills in performing vital signs, medication/history review, allergy questionnaires, and fielding medication refills. Description: The position involves providing care in an ambulatory outpatient setting. You will be responsible for supporting a specific provider and floating to other locations as needed. The role involves working with adult and pediatric patients with allergy, immunology, and asthma conditions. You will assist an average daily census of 16-24 patients. Experience with IV skills and performing spirometry is preferred. Flexibility and comfort in a fast-paced environment are essential. Support includes 3-4 RNs per clinic per day, with managers available via communication platforms. Charting will be done in an electronic medical record system, with prior experience preferred. Generous collaboration with team members and support staff is expected.
