What we expect from you

Our firm is currently searching for an experienced law clerk to add to our mass tort legal department. The ideal law clerk candidate should be proficient in LexisNexis and Westlaw databases, be able to conduct in-depth legal research, and have experience drafting memorandums. As our firm is expanding and working with large case dockets at times, it is necessary for qualified candidates to be experienced with handling correspondence to clients and other firms while following important court notifications and dates. All applying candidates should display superior organizational habits, professionalism, exceptional time management capabilities, computer literacy, while being punctual and dependable. Due to the nature of the company, the candidate should be detail orientated and have the ability to work well with others on a team of attorneys, paralegals, and case file managers. 

Qualifications:

• Mass Tort experience: 1-3 years (Preferred)
• Law firm experience: 1-3 years (Preferred)
• High School Diploma
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
• Flexible schedule with a commitment to attendance.
• Client-oriented with excellent customer service skills. 
• Strong communication along with excellent time management and task execution skills

Job Type:

Location & Reporting:

• Houston, Texas
• Reports directly to Attorney

Benefits:

• Full benefits package

Compensation: 

• $20-24/hr

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
