Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical

Schedule:
- Nights
- Shift options: 36 or 48 hours per week
- Float required (to like units within scope)
- Some weekends required; weekend schedule variable (same as unit staff)

Requirements:
- Valid RN license (KS or Compact)
- BLS certification
- 2 years of experience preferred (will consider less)
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Experience with patient ratios of 5-6
- EMR familiarity: Epic preferred
- Key skills: IV/line management, telemetry monitoring, cardiorespiratory support, blood product administration, wound care, feeding tube and ostomy care, renal failure care, infection control practices

Compliance / Notes:
- RTO must be listed at the time of submittal
- Modules completed onsite during orientation (RN average 4-6 hours)
