Registered Nurse – ICU

Shift: 7p - 7a Weekend Requirement: Yes

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of critical care experience required
• Certifications required: ACLS, PALS/ENPC
• Familiar with ICU drips/sedation
• Comfortable in critical care situations
• EMR: Cerner

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in an ICU setting.
• Monitor and manage patient conditions, including vital signs and laboratory results.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about care plans and health management.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and interventions.

Compliance / Notes:

• The clinician may float to Med-Surg as needed.
• Potential for block scheduling with three shifts in a row.
