Superstar Sales Manager OpportunityDominant CBS/ABC combo serving the Tri-Cities, Tennessee and Virginia communities is looking for a Superstar Sales Manager.Our amazing community is home to the Birthplace of Country Music, Bristol Motor Speedway, a Hard Rock Hotel and Casino plus world class hiking and fishing.Join our team, which has been a part of the fabric of our community for more than 70 years and is a leader in delivering local content to our viewers.The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the day to day operations of the Sales department, including development of new business and achievement of revenue goals across broadcast and digital platforms.Provides leadership for the broadcast/digital sales teamsEfficient and fluent in digital salesMakes decisions regarding hiring, evaluation, promotion and termination of employeesDevelops and executes sales strategies which result in exceeding revenue targets in local, new business and digital revenueDrives new business developmentManages inventory and revenue forecastingManages recruitment, training, evaluation, and development of sales professionalsManages accounts receivableDevelops and cultivates client relationships alongside account executivesPerforms other duties as assignedRequirements & Skills:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or Mass Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experienceMinimum three-five years digital/media sales experienceExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenValid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordExperience guiding, directing and motivating personnel, including setting and monitoring performance standardsExperience establishing long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve themAbility to identify the developmental needs of others and to coach, mentor or otherwise help others to improve their knowledge or skillsProficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, and other office equipmentExperience with Wide Orbit, Strata, Matrix, and comScore is preferredPay Range: $125,000-$140,000 salary, commission, & bonus.Benefits: Our comprehensive benefits package includes, but not limited to, medical (with multiple plan options), dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, a 401(k) with company matching contributions, life insurance, Paid Parental Leave and more.SCAM ALERT: Please be aware candidates may be at risk of being targeted by scammers seeking personal data or money.
