CNC Machine Operator

Job Summary: Looking to grow your career in precision manufacturing? We are looking for a CNC Machine Operator to join a growing team. Responsibilities include:


• Machine steel parts and rail according to specifications


• Read and interpret blueprints


• Use digital calipers to ensure accuracy


• Comply with all safety procedures


• Operate overhead cranes


Location: Alorton, IL
Position type: Full Time, Evaluation Hire
Shift: Monday-Friday, 6am-4:30pm or 4pm-2:30am
Pay: $22/hr ($1 increase after 90 days and an additional $1 increase after 1 year)

Qualifications:


• Minimum 6 months machine operator experience, CNC Machine experience preferred


• Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision


• Ability to read and write legibly and complete production reports with accuracy


• Ability to read and use tape measure


• Strong attention to detail with ability to inspect rail using measuring devices


• Must be quality oriented and a team player


• Complete understanding of safe work practices


• Ability to lift up to 35lbs repeatedly


• Comfortable standing for majority of the shift, kneel, squat and climb step multiple times


• Ability to hear and see parts as they are machined, looking/listening for deficiencies


• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and nonverbally


• Follow all safety procedures, policies and PPE requirements
