Branch Manager II – Kent, WA Location: Kent, WA. Shift: Monday – Friday, morning shift. Base Salary Range: $80,168.40 – $87,000 (DOE) Responsibilities The Branch Manager oversees daily store operations to achieve or advance sales and margin goals. This involves promoting sales, delivering excellent customer service, nurturing inventory levels, and balancing expenses through purchase support. Additionally, the Branch Manager fosters facility and staff alignment to safety and regulatory standards, empowers team members in providing efficient customer service, maintains good housekeeping, and harmonizes overall operational efficiency. Provide professional customer service for all internal and external customers and answer product, pricing, and technical inquiries. Support the outside sales team in nurturing existing client relationships and welcoming new business opportunities. Ensure the accurate and timely processing of daily financial transactions, including cash reports, charge tickets, coding, costing, pricing, daily cash summaries, and bank deposits. Maintain the accuracy of back order, open order, and Purchase Order (PO) expedite reports. Cultivate and refine appropriate cylinder and hard goods inventory levels for the branch. Facilitate and lead training for inside sales associates on product knowledge, company policies, processes, procedures, and safety. Conduct periodic performance reviews for branch associates. Act as a bridge between employees and management, providing performance mentorship and guidance in collaboration with Human Resources and senior management. Required Qualifications 2+ years of management experience in a customer‑facing environment. Background in supporting and leading teams within a retail or industrial distribution environment. Ability to lift up to 75lbs and occasionally up to 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment. Proficient computer skills and an interest in learning new digital tools. Ability to navigate multiple priorities concurrently. Self‑motivated with a focus on contributing to the overall team’s success. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively act as a bridge between staff and management. Preferred Qualifications Track record of meaningful contributions in the welding, gas, or safety industry. 3+ years of experience in a role focused on nurturing team growth and operational efficiency. 5+ years of sales experience with a track record of meaningful contributions.
