The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that the food manufacturing equipment is running smoothly. This position will help maintain refrigeration and A/C equipment and perform repairs and maintenance as needed. What you will be doing: Servicing and repairing of the production line, and cooking equipment. Assisting in maintaining refrigeration and A/C equipment, when necessary. Attending all safety training classes. Assist in equipment use training. May be asked to perform non-maintenance-related tasks throughout the facility. General repairs and maintenance, to keep the facility in a clean safe condition. Performing and documenting preventative maintenance on all equipment. Update and maintain equipment list and repairs Sanitizing air conditioning unit. Responsible for removing the buildup of ice on the freezer floors as needed. What we are looking for: Training and experience in Refrigeration, Electrical, and General Maintenance Two years’ experience in Refrigeration, Electrical, and General Maintenance Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to work in freezer and cold environment for extended periods of time. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Computer knowledge and skills helpful.
