Devops Engineer

Our client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a DevOps Engineer for their McLean, VA location.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience as DevOps
• CI/CD pipeline and Jenkins experience
• AWS deployment experience (ECS Fargate, S3, Lambda, RDS, Route53, EC2, etc.)
• UCD tool experience for AWS deployment (CloudFormation, YAML, JSON)
• Experience in 2-week sprints
• Aware of scan tools (SONAR, Fortify Scan, etc.)
• Experience in Groovy and Python scripts
• Experience in automating the process
• Created monitors, alarms, and notifications for EC2 hosts using CloudWatch and App Dynamics
• Experience with JFrog Artifactory
• Pipeline as code (PAC)
• Artifactory
• Pipeline integration with security scans (Nexus, Sonar, etc.)
• AWS CloudFormation
• Experience with working in complex environments or at minimum be able to demonstrate advanced problem solving skills – this part I want to highlight and builds on what we discussed earlier this week.
• We have immediate deliverables coming up end of Q3 and into Q4 and have minimal patience for someone who dawdles or requires hand-holding.
• This is really a 'thrown into the fire' right away type of situation and you need to know how to use the equipment at your disposal.
• GitLab
• Terraform (our target state)
• Broader working knowledge of AWS
• Other applicable full stack skills, e.g., Java, Springboot
