What You'll Be Doing

As a Referral Specialist, you'll help coordinate patient care by managing referrals, scheduling appointments, and ensuring patients receive the services they need.

Responsibilities include:

• Processing and managing referral requests
• Scheduling appointments for specialists, procedures, and consultations
• Reviewing and verifying referral information
• Communicating with providers and referral offices
• Maintaining accurate documentation in electronic medical records systems
• Following up on open referrals and obtaining required information
• Assisting patients with questions regarding the referral process
• Utilizing interpreter services when needed
• Providing outstanding customer service to patients and healthcare partners
