Cardiothoracic Surgery Locums Job in Washington 24-Hour Call ASAP - Ongoing Assignment

Coverage Details
Duration of coverage is 9 to 12 months
Coverage begins as soon as credentialed
Credentialing timeframe is 60 to 90 days

Shift Details
24-hour call coverage
One to two weekends per month required

Requirements
MD or DO
Board certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery
ACLS certification
Washington medical license or IMLC accepted

Required Procedures / Skills
General cardiac surgery, open and endoscopic
Coronary artery bypass surgery, on pump
Valvular repair and replacement
Intra-aortic balloon pump
Pulmonary artery catheter
Balloon pump

Assignment Details
Inpatient practice setting
Adult-only patient population
5-10 estimated daily patient volume
0-3 admissions per day
2-7 ICU patients
1-2 surgeries per day
EMR system is Epic
