Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Location

Tucson, AZ | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | 13 Weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an Orthopedic unit with medical overflow
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5–6
• Float within scope of care and practice as needed
• Document and manage patient records using EPIC (required)
• Complete the full 13-week contract length

Required Qualifications

• Valid Arizona RN license required
• BLS required and must not expire within 30 days of start date
• Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical experience
• EPIC proficiency required
• Must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Orthopedic nursing
• Ability to adapt to medical overflow patient populations
• Experience floating across units within scope of practice
