Job Requirements

• Board Certified in Physician specialty
• Active South Carolina medical license
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in pulmonary critical care, ICU, or a comparable inpatient setting
• Ability to manage intensive care patients and provide general pulmonary consults
• Comfortable working in a busy hospital environment with adult and geriatric patients
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and teamwork in a hospital-based practice

Responsibilities

• Provide pulmonary and critical care coverage for hospitalized patients
• Manage ICU patients and support ongoing critical care needs
• Complete general pulmonary consults for inpatient services
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers across the service line
• Document patient care accurately in Epic
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a high-acuity environment
• Support weekend coverage and maintain continuity of care across the schedule
