Health Advisor At Sun Life, the Health Advisor role provides high‑touch customer service to PinnacleCare members, building strong relationships and helping them navigate the healthcare system to receive the best and most expeditious care. Location Midwest (Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Michigan, Ohio, Iowa, Indiana). Responsibilities Guide every step of care: coordinate all aspects of member’s healthcare, from collecting medical records and scheduling appointments to arranging second opinions with top physicians. Provide expert insights: work closely with Medical Directors and Researchers to offer the latest treatment options, clinical trials, and expert physician recommendations. Deliver caring, high‑touch service: act as dependable and compassionate support for members and their families. Build strong medical partnerships: develop and nurture relationships with physicians and hospital staff. Qualifications Ability to work with diverse populations. Licensed in a health‑related field (Clinical Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Registered Nurse, or equivalent). Background in medical social work, nursing, or case management. Clinical medicine, direct patient care, or case management experience. Experience in a hospital setting preferred. Self‑starter, can work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills and sense of urgency. Proficient with MS Office. Excellent time‑management, multitasking, decisiveness, and proactive approach to member needs.
