Job Description
Endoscopy RN - Registered Nurse

Schedule:
- Shifts:
- Opening: 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Closing: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM
- Alternate shifts: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 16 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required
- Prior travel experience required
- AHA BLS certification
- AHA ACLS certification
- AHA PALS certification preferred
- Experience in large, teaching facility required
- Experience starting IVs, assessing H+P info, and post-procedure recovery for patients receiving conscious sedation
- Experience with EPIC from within the past 2 years required

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
- Administer conscious sedation and monitor patients during procedures.
- Assess patient history and physical information as part of patient evaluation.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure best practices in patient care.
- Participate in post-procedure recovery and evaluations.

Compliance / Notes:
- All work history information must be complete, including bed count, EMR, and facility type.
- COVID-19 and flu declinations accepted; proof or declinations should be included in the packet.
- Reliable transportation is required as public transportation is not accessible in this area.
- Floating to other units is not required.
- Orientation occurs bi-weekly on Mondays.
- No block scheduling is available.
