The department offers three distinct B.A. degrees for study in the areas of Art, Art History and Design, with minors including Art, Art History, Ceramics, Graphic Design, Digital Graphics, and Photography. The department cultivates rigorous, cross‑disciplinary programs that prepare students for professional and post‑graduate work. Teaching Responsibilities Teach assigned lower and upper division courses in the department’s curriculum and serve weekly office hours based on assigned teaching unit load. Required Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in the field relevant to the curriculum or related discipline. Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience at the college or university level and who can furnish evidence of strong teaching. Applicants must have experience in teaching undergraduates from diverse ages, socioeconomic, cultural, and academic backgrounds. Preferred Qualifications A Master’s degree in the field relevant to the curriculum or related discipline.
