Home Grown Café is looking for  two kind, dependable restaurant leaders who bring integrity, warmth, and care to every shift—for our guests and our team.

What You'll Do

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll:

• Independently lead front-of-house shifts
• Open and close the restaurant
• Guide service and make thoughtful staffing decisions
• Coach, support, and develop employees with consistency and respect
• Create a warm, welcoming guest experience and handle guest needs thoughtfully
• Maintain accurate cash controls and closing procedures
• Prioritize menu knowledge, order accuracy, and thoughtful communication around allergies and dietary needs
• Support employee training and onboarding
• Maintain strong communication between FOH and BOH
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive team culture

Who We're Looking For

Previous restaurant leadership or Manager-on-Duty experience is required.

We're less concerned with whether you've worked in exactly the same type of restaurant and more interested in  how you lead and what you're looking to build next.

You should be someone who can take ownership of a busy shift, communicate clearly, support and motivate a team, and hold people accountable without losing the human side of leadership.

We're especially interested in people who are  dependable, solutions-focused, open to new ideas, comfortable contributing their own, and looking for a place where they can grow and stay long term.

We'll teach our systems and support your growth.

Requirements

• Restaurant leadership or Manager-on-Duty experience
• Weekend availability
• Reliable transportation
• Delaware alcohol-service certification
• ServSafe certification within 30 days of hire
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
