Pay: $35.00–$50.00 per hour, based on experience
Location: Southington, CT
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time | In-House
We are seeking an experienced HVAC D2 or S2 Licensed Mechanic to join our team and provide maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and operation of commercial HVAC systems for a customer in the Southington, CT area.
This is a stable, in-house opportunity with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule and potential for overtime and weekend work as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC systems.
- Operate and maintain commercial HVAC equipment and related mechanical systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and identify potential equipment issues.
- Maintain current trade licenses and required certifications.
- Follow all applicable requirements under Section 608 of the Clean Air Act and federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Attend required safety training.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Be flexible to work overtime and weekends as business needs require.
- Valid Connecticut D2 or S2 HVAC license required.
- Extensive commercial HVAC experience.
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair skills.
- Clean driving record.
- Boiler and steam experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and professionally in a customer-facing environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to regularly walk, stand, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- Ability to climb ladders and stairways.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. frequently, 51–100 lbs. occasionally, and 101+ lbs. seldom.
- Ability to work around mechanical equipment and in various indoor and outdoor environments.
- Must maintain a neat and clean appearance and properly utilize all required protective equipment.
