Since 1977, our restaurants have been built around honest cooking, genuine connection, and the belief that every guest should feel welcomed and well cared for.# The RoleThe Sauté Cook executes a focused kitchen station with speed, consistency, and respect for ingredients, recipes, teammates, and the guest experience.# What You’ll Do* Set up, stock, and maintain the assigned station for efficient service.* Coordinate pan work, sauces, reductions, and pickups with precise heat control and timing.* Prepare and cook menu items to recipe, portion, temperature, timing, and presentation standards.* Read tickets and coordinate timing and communication with the line, expo, and service team.* Monitor product quality, pars, rotation, waste, and food safety controls.* Use kitchen tools and commercial equipment safely and report maintenance concerns.* Complete opening, cleaning, breakdown, labeling, and closing work thoroughly.# Benefits & Perks* Weekly payroll.* Team member food and dining discounts.* Access to wellness resources and support services.* Part-time medical membership with preventive and diagnostic coverage during the first year, subject to plan terms and eligibility.* Eligibility for full medical benefits after 12 months of consistent full-time hours, subject to plan terms and eligibility.*Benefits are subject to eligibility requirements and applicable plan terms.*## Qualifications# What You’ll Bring* Line-cook or comparable high-volume kitchen experience is preferred.* Working knowledge of station organization, cooking technique, timing, and sanitation.* Ability to follow recipes, stay composed under pressure, and communicate with the team.* Food Handler Certification# Physical & Schedule Requirements* Stand and move for extended periods in a fast-paced kitchen environment.* Frequently bend, reach, grip, push, pull, and perform repetitive food-preparation motions.* Regularly lift and carry up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance when needed.* Safely work around heat, open flame, steam, sharp tools, wet floors, cold storage, and commercial equipment.* Maintain availability for a varied schedule that may include early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
