Sam's Club #6444 2450 Main St Evanston, IL 60202-1548 $18.50 - $26.50/hr* (shift schedule varies) Position Summary Member Front Line Services Associates (MFLS) support members throughout the club, providing excellent customer service, ensuring smooth operations, maintaining safety and cleanliness of checkout and storefront areas, and promoting Sam’s Club merchandise and services. What You’ll Do Provide member service, greet and verify membership cards, and assist with purchasing decisions. Operate the front‑end cash register and mobile retail applications, process payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges per company policies. Maintain checkout and entrance/exit areas, perform safety sweeps, and report unsafe situations to facility management. Organize merchandise, zone sections, and assist members with locating and transporting items. Execute emergency response procedures, collect and maintain required documentation, and ensure compliance with security and safety practices. Support the training of fellow MFLS associates on processes, new technology, and program rollouts. Identify and report shrinkage, damages, and other operational issues for continuous improvement. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 18 or older. Previous retail experience operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register) and working with mobile retail applications. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a high‑traffic retail or membership club environment. Proficiency with point‑of‑sale and inventory systems. Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
