Job Summary:

Position Title: Patient Care Technician

Location: Portland, OR 97211

Duration: 13 weeks

Work Schedule: Night 5x8-Hour (22:00 - 06:30)



Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• ssist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, feeding, grooming, and ambulation.
• Obtain and document vital signs, intake/output, and patient observations.
• ssist with turning, repositioning, and transferring patients safely.
• Collect and transport specimens and perform routine catheter care.
• Maintain infection control standards and proper PPE usage.
• ssist with patient transport and support nursing staff with daily patient care.
• Operate equipment such as glucometers, pulse oximeters, Hoyer lifts, and hospital beds.
• Respond appropriately in emergency situations, including performing CPR when needed.

To be considered for this position, you should have: [Skills, Education, or Experience]

• Minimum 2 years of Patient Care Technician or equivalent acute care experience.
• Current BLS Certification (Required).
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Familiarity with Epic and/or Cerner EMR systems is a plus.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.
