Job Description

We are seeking a Lock Box Specialist to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-volume mail processing, lockbox operations, and data entry and a proven ability to execute routine tasks accurately, meet production goals, and maintain documentation standards .

Work Schedule:

• Monday: 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• Tuesday-Friday: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• Flexibility required. Hours may shift to 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. based on business needs during RITA tax season.

Responsibilities:

• Operate incoming mail equipment, including Falcon and transport machines, and perform manual extraction.
• Follow defined procedures to file, record, process, service, and organize product or process documentation.
• Assist in reviewing documentation to ensure proper procedures are followed for basic activities.
• Perform routine operational and administrative tasks with accuracy and within deadlines.
• Provide service related to routine billing inquiries, service requests, suggestions, and customer complaints as needed.
• Execute basic maintenance tasks on equipment as scheduled or required.
• Meet production goals and maintain accuracy across high transaction volumes.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 0-1 year of experience in business operations or general office environments.
• High School Diploma or GED. College degree preferred.
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours, twist, bend, squat, and lift up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to operate mail transport machines and key data with accuracy.
• Proficient 10-key skills with high speed and accuracy; comfortable with multiple computer systems and applications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Good judgment, decision-making ability, and capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Analytical, research, and problem resolution skills with strong attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and loan documentation.
• Basic knowledge of banking policies, procedures, and governmental regulations.
• Experience with payment delivery channels such as Lockbox, ACH, wires, and OLDS.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in credit card, retail banking, small business banking, consumer lending, mortgage banking, collections, recovery, origination, or auto finance operations.
• Proven ability to manage high transaction volumes and meet production targets independently.
