Line Cook Job Location: San Rafael, California Job Type: Temp to Hire Pay Rate:$26-$26.50/hour Schedule: Monday - Friday; 12pm-8:30pm Description of Position:Do you have experience as a Line Cook in a commercial kitchen? Our client, an upscale retirement community in San Rafael, is looking for an experienced Line Cook to join their kitchen team. Ideal candidate has experience as a Line Cook who enjoys working in a professional, dynamic kitchen, we encourage you to apply. Job Responsibilities:Prepare and cook proteins, vegetables, soups, sauces, stocks, and other menu itemsCook food to proper temperature, flavor, and presentation standardsWork efficiently in a high-production, dynamic kitchenMaintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstationUse knives and kitchen equipment safely and efficientlyFollow recipes, menus, and food safety standardsOrganize and properly store food using FIFO practicesClean and break down your station at the end of each shiftCommunicate supply or kitchen issues to the Chef or Dining Services Manager Description of Company:You will be supporting a well-established upscale retirement community in San Rafael, California.
