Job Title: Forklift Operator Job Description

We are seeking dedicated forklift operators and material handlers to join our team. This role involves operating forklifts both indoors and outdoors, as well as pulling products off of lines in a seasonal capacity.

• Operate forklifts efficiently to move materials and products.
• Work both indoors and outdoors, adapting to different weather conditions.
• Handle and transport products from production lines.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.

• Experience in forklift operation.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation.
• Familiarity with material handling procedures.

• Experience with mixing and batch plant operations is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to seasonal work schedules.

This position is based in an outdoor mulch production facility, which experiences varying temperatures and weather conditions. It can be hot in the summer, cold in the winter, and wet when it rains. Dusty conditions are common during dry periods, and windy conditions may cause loose particles in the air. Safety personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided to ensure your safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PACIFIC JUNCTION, IA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
