Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, prescribing necessary diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic conditions independently or with physician collaboration based on your credentials
• Providing guidance to patients and their families on wellness, preventative measures, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies within established practice guidelines
• Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic care coordination

Essential Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program

Required Credentials

• Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to acquire within 90 days)
