Remote: CA-Barred Law & Motion Attorney

We are looking for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to support a legal team within the legal industry. This Long-term Contract position focuses on managing consumer warranty litigation matters from initial case development through resolution. The ideal candidate brings strong courtroom preparation, effective communication skills, and the ability to balance a high-volume caseload while meeting procedural standards.Responsibilities:• Oversee a substantial portfolio of auto consumer warranty matters and drive each case forward on a day-to-day basis.• Prepare, revise, and submit litigation documents such as complaints, motions, pleadings, and supporting memoranda.• Lead discovery efforts by drafting written discovery, reviewing produced records, and coordinating or taking depositions.• Advocate during negotiations, mediation sessions, and court proceedings, including trial when required.• Maintain consistent communication with all involved parties to keep matters progressing efficiently.• Track court deadlines, filing obligations, and procedural rules to ensure matters remain compliant.• Conduct legal research and apply relevant authority to case strategy, motion practice, and dispute resolution efforts.
