Dance Instructor

SUMMARY This job includes assisting the lead teacher with instruction and education of childrenbetween the age(s) of 3-18 years in various dance disciplines. This position has the opportunity to move up in leadership over time. Requirements 16 years of age or older Reliable transportation Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights/weekends Character Traits Outgoing personality Having a like for children Ability to provide effective communication Capacityto understand and follow oral and written orders Able to take corrective feedback and apply it in future behavior Take charge attitude with leadership abilities Organized and being able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Electronics Must have a device where company apps can be downloaded Must have your own working email address Physical Demands Demonstratevarious progressions or skills with arms, legs, head,etc. Be on your feet and active foranhour or more at a time Spot all skillsrequired ofthe classes that you are teaching ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES Ability to handle high pressure situations such as accidentsandminor injuries Being on time,dependable, andmaintainthe same schedule Communicating with students and lead teacher throughout sessions when necessary Be able to have effective class management skills EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Dance experience isrequired Experience working with children preferred First Aid/CPR/AED Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date WORK CONDITIONS Dance facilities are covered, climate-controlled facilities #J-18808-Ljbffr
