About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with United Health Care Staffing to find a qualified RRT in Concord, Massachusetts, 01742!

Job Responsibilities

• Ventilator & Airway Management: Set up, calibrate, and manage invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation (including CPAP/BiPAP systems) on the night shift; perform routine patient monitoring and adjustments per physician orders.

• Acute Care Interventions: Respond promptly to rapid responses, codes, and emergency department pages to provide airway management, resuscitation, or endotracheal intubation assistance.

• Diagnostics & Blood Gases: Draw, analyze, and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs); perform bedside spirometry and assess pulmonary function metrics to guide active treatment plans.

• Therapeutic Treatments: Administer aerosolized medications, deliver bronchopulmonary drainage/chest physiotherapy, and handle tracheostomy care and changes as required.

Job Requirements

• Credential: Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential issued by the NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care).

• License: Active, unrestricted Respiratory Care Practitioner license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

• Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years of recent, independent RRT experience in an acute care hospital setting (ICU/ER competency required).

• Life Support: Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. PALS or NRP certifications are highly preferred depending on specific unit placements.
