Long term, evolving company wants to offer you the flexibility that you deserve! They are hiring an Accounting Manager to join their accounting team. The Accounting Manager will report to the Controller, oversee two individuals and support multi-site accounting activities. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Supporting multi-site closing processes, including journal entries, general ledger, fixed assets, etc.
• Completing reconciliation in the company ERP system
• Assisting with internal and/or external finance and accounting audits
• Supporting weekly, monthly and annual financial reporting
• Assisting with the annual budgeting and forecasting process
• Overseeing multiple finance and analysis projects at a time, while completing them in a timely manner
• Improving financial processes, measurables and KPIs
• Performing sales and property tax
• Reconciling credit card expenditures
• Completing day-to-day transactions, including assisting with cash flow analysis
• Partnering with the Controller to assist with P&L analysis
• Other duties as assigned by management

Candidates should have strong analytical skills, excellent problem solving, be hands on, be able to build rapport with the hourly workforce and management, have good work history and enjoy working within a team-oriented environment. Individuals should feel comfortable doing presentations in front of leadership teams. Requirements for the Accounting Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Finance or Accounting
• At least 3-5 years in a similar diverse accounting position
• Experience supervising others
• Experience performing accounting functions in manufacturing and/or distribution environments
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Experience completing detailed reconciliation
• Experience supporting month-end and year-end closing
• Microsoft Office, including strong MS Excel skills

Skills that are preferred, BUT NOT required:

• Fixed assets experience
• Experience working for multi-site organizations
