Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years of current Emergency Department experience License: New Hampshire RN License Certifications: Active American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS Active American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS Active American Heart Association or American Red Cross PALS Must-Have: Prior travel experience (at least 3 months) EPIC experience Description: Travelers may not take all holidays off. MUST work TWO blocks if scheduled or needed: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after, and weekend after Christmas Eve through Christmas Day, and weekend after New Year’s Eve through New Year’s Day. Travel pairs will be considered but must be able to work different shifts and have transport to the facility. Nursing care will be provided to patients from infancy through the adult life cycle. Utilize knowledge of age-related growth and development to individualize the nursing process. Function in accordance with the nursing philosophy, objectives, standards of care, and standards of practice. Must be comfortable with drips and vents. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Ability to adapt to stressful situations quickly and effectively is essential. The relationship between Emergency Department staff and rescuer personnel is key to Emergency Medical Services. Working as a team is crucial for effective patient care. Scheduled time off must be noted and verified during the application process. Requests for time off after submission will not be approved. No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted, less is preferred. Profile must include all backgrounds, licenses, and required documentation. All medical and occupational health compliance items must be ordered and uploaded promptly after the offer acceptance. Scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. All scheduling requests after the offer may lead to rescinded offers.
