Rehab RN

Schedule

Nights, with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. Weekend coverage required every other weekend.

Assignment Details

Acute inpatient rehabilitation unit. Patient population: Adults.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year RN experience.
Required: BLS certification.
Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care, PEG/NG tube management, and enteral feeding.
Ability in airway suctioning (oral/nasotracheal), IV starts/maintenance, venous blood draws, and wound care.
Familiarity with stroke (CVA) and neuro/trauma care, along with pain management and infection prevention.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to patients in rehabilitation settings.
Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
Educate patients and families on care plans and rehabilitation goals.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Compliance / Notes

Orientation and training provided. All requested time off must be listed upon submittal.
