Job Description & Requirements Specialty: House Supervisor Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour | 6:45 PM–7:15 AM Weekend Coverage: Every Other Weekend Position Overview We are seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and oversee nursing operations throughout the hospital during the night shift. The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of House Supervisor or RN Manager experience, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to manage patient flow, staffing, emergencies, and hospital-wide operational needs. Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. • Minimum 1 year of House Supervisor or RN Manager experience. • Travel nursing experience required. • Experience with electronic medical records/charting systems required; any system accepted. • ACLS, BLS, and PALS required. • Strong clinical leadership and nursing supervisory experience. • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospital environment. • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including DPH, The Joint Commission (TJC), OSHA, and related standards. Unit & Patient Population • Average Daily Census: 19 • Total Inpatient Beds: 25 • Patient Population: Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics. • Scattered-bed unit serving medical, detox, and swing-bed patients. • Primary diagnoses include: o CHF o Pneumonia o Chest pain observation/rule-out o Syncope o Diverticulitis o Cellulitis o COPD o Alcohol withdrawal o Opioid withdrawal o Debility • The hospital includes a 7-bed Emergency Department, day surgery services, and a 25-bed inpatient unit. • Inpatient RN ratio is approximately 1:6 on days and 1:7 on nights, with LPN support. • A significant portion of the census consists of subacute patients requiring rehabilitation for debility, wound care, and long-term IV antibiotic therapy. • Bariatric equipment is rented when required.
